Potential Diabetic Problems
As we all know, if you don’t take care of yourself and keep your blood sugar levels in control, you could have some serious side effects that can affect long or short term. To those of you who don’t know or don’t know any, I wanted to put a list of serious hazards that can be waiting for you if you don’t get or keep control of yourself.
Eye Problems such as Diabetic neuropathy, Diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, cataracts, blindness
Feet Problems such as nerve damage, blocked blood vessels or decreased blood flow, weakened bones, collapsed joints, blisters and calluses, ulcers or sores, bone infection
Kidney failure such as dialysis from kidney damage from the disease
Kidney disease(Nephropathy)
Ketoacidosis(DKA) such as checking urine for ketones
Localized nerve failure
Cardiovascular issues
Heart disease
Heart attack
Stroke
Hypertension such as high blood pressure
Amputations
Peripheral neuropathy such as feet and legs developing tingling, pain, or a loss of feeling making foot ulcers and foot infections more common
Stomach and bowel problems
Sexual-function problems such as impotence being common in people with nerve damage from diabetes. Artery damage can contribute, too.

Mental health problems such as dealing with natural emotions i.e., sadness, anger, denial, and more before it leads to depression
